<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I am happy to announce that starting this Thursday, The Turquoise Forest will be sold at Boutique 208 in downtown Pittsburgh.

These past couple of days I have been creating a small collection to take to the shop.
The owner of the shop, who contacted me though Pittsburgh's Etsy Steel Town Team, asked me if I would be interested in selling my jewelry there.
Of course I was, so I went there to meet her and see the shop.
<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>
She told me that normally she has to turn down jewelry artist because of how saturated it is.
And then she told me that she contacted me because she really liked my jewels and thought that they were unique and stood out.
That is exactly what I have been trying to do the past year with Etsy: stand out. It ain't easy that's for sure! But it has been a great ride so far and now I am so excited to have my work and spend some time in a boutique.

I'll keep ya'll posted!!

I absolutely love starting my days watching a great sunrise.
I just knew it was going to be a beautiful day while driving to work.

The Amazonite Tree Ring is available in my shop. I deactivated The Gypsy Soul Pinky Ring because I decided to gift it to myself :) But this is temporary!! I'll be reselling as soon as I'm ready to let go of it. I really want someone else to enjoy the beauty of this gorgeous piece of jewelry! I'll let you know as soon as its re-listed.

Yesterday was my 27th birthday. I did nothing spectactular but I had a great day.
I spent my morning with the little girl I nanny. Even though she's just shy from turning 4, she is seriously my greatest friend. She is the sweetest little thing and I was so happy to start my day off with her. I took her to dance class and then dropped her off at daycare.
The one thing I wanted to do yesterday was spend some quality time with nature. So I made my way over to the Sewickley Heights Park which I LOVE. It's just great. You can let your dogs roam free there. Get lost in the trails for hours, occasionally passing people riding on their horses. It's great exercise and the scenery is amazing. I didn't do any trailing yesterday, lol, just relaxing. I took some photos, mostly from there, that I wanted to share with you.
I finished my day with one of my best friends. We had dinner and cocktails downtown. I unfortunately didn't take any photos of my night which now I wish I had. Oh well, maybe next year. <3

I also want to add that this past year has by far been my most favorite year. Although I spent most of my quality time and days with myself, I have learned so much about me, about my capabilities, and my passions. I am seriously looking forward to the next 364 days of my life and I can't wait to see what I accomplish before turning 28 :)
