One year ago yesterday, I went to the Sewickley Valley Hospital to meet my nephew Nikao for the very first time.
 I can't even believe how fast this year has gone.
On my Intsagram account I have a hashtag just for this boy! I try to take a picture of him every week. Every so often I look at them and am amazed how much he changes and grows over 7 days.
<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
I love watching him grow and I love how his eyes light up when he meets someone for the first time.
He greets them with a huge smile on his face.
I love how he laughs and I love when he's sad and he's not sure whether to be sad so he smiles and then he starts to cry again because he remembers that he was sad. I love how when he's eating, he likes to feed everyone his food. I love every little thing about him!
<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
 He's such light and wonder and I'm so very happy to have him be apart of my life.
I can't wait to learn all the things that he is going to teach me!

Definitely looking forward to seeing him grow into a 2 year old
& building memories that will last a lifetime...

<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>
A few weeks back, myself and my friends traveled up to Northern PA to hit up Erie.
We spent two days there. Short weekend getaways are my favorite because we always end up doing more when there is only little time. The first day, one of my bests, Zack and I went up Presque Isle.
 It's really beautiful there and it pretty much looks like an ocean.
 I normally don't shy away from the water, but it was quite windy the two days we were there which made it chilly.
I did not go in.
The first night we went back to the beach to watch the sunset.
 I took so many photos on this trip {Like usual}
Enjoy!

The Bencher's Union is an annual Hip Hop Showcase. Pretty much each year, artwork is covered up with new artwork.
Definitely a reason to go back to Erie next summer.
I personally think that all major cities should have an area dedicated to this awesome art form.

“Sail beyond the horizon; fly higher than you ever thought possible;
 magnify your existence by helping others;
be kind to people and animals of all shapes and sizes;
 be true to what you value most;
 shine your light on the world;
and be the person you were born to be.” Blake Beattie

I paired my Mermaid Cowrie necklace with a pair of earrings that I bought from Dark Heartss.  To break down my outfit:
My top was from Babes & Felines and I bought my jeans from a second hand shop in San Francisco, California called Wasteland. My sweater and belt was from the thrift store.

 I was feeling like a whole new woman today. I am sure that ending my jobs and now officially working from home has something to do with it. At first I wasn't sure what I was going to do after being a nanny but I realized that there is only one thing I can do,
that being, do what I love.
Thanks to Oprah, I'm all about following my heart.
Also, thanks to James Allen, Napoleon Hill, Robert Collier, Deepak Chopra, the list goes on...
These people have convinced me that it's time to start living. It took a really long time to find the courage to do it.
I mean a REALLY long time. Many years, but, through out the years I always had a book by one of the authors above in my purse. Where ever I went. Every Day. I would read basically whenever I would have a minute. I've decided to stop reading so much and start doing. It's been almost one week since I had a consistent paying job and I have not yet started to panic. I'm just going for it and no looking back. When I'm ready I'm going to post about my last four years with the best people that I know. The kids I nannied will forever be apart of my heart and I can only hope my life. I'm not quite ready for that yet! Soon.
