The Road Less Traveled

My friends and I were on a mission to find a field filled with goldenrods.
We drove down 79 looking for them because we had herd that somewhere along the interstate there was a field full.
Turns out we saw goldenrods everywhere, just not a big field like we had imagined.
We ended up getting off at an exit to see if we could find anywhere and drove past what looked like it could be a field but was just a small crop of the lovely wild flowers.
It was interesting because beyond the rods was what looked to be a wide trail, so we followed it.
The trail then split where you could go straight or go up the hill. It was at this point that I realized that this was not a trail but was once a road that is no longer in use now covered with grass flowers & tree branches.
We decided to go up and ended up in the most beautiful place surrounded by tall trees.
It was a magical place and kind of looked like a fairy tale setting.
That day I wore my favorite Kimono from Tamga Designs.
Christine took some awesome pictures, here are a few from our adventure.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Autumn Fest

Yesterday was Autumn Fest in my town.
With the help of my friends, I set up a booth and since I had A LOT of things it took a good minute to set everything up but once it was done, I had a good time hanging out, selling a few things, and just enjoying the gorgeous day we had. I decided this time around that I would sell handmade and flea finds.  A lot of the flea stuff that didn't sell yesterday will be added to The Eclectic Bohemians section on my site. Which will be coming very soon! I was kind of waiting until after Autumn Fest to open it online to see if I could sell anything at the festival but now that it's over I'm looking forward to having the products available to my customers world wide. Keep you all posted on release date of The Eclectic Bohemians! If I had a REAL shop, it'd look somewhat like my booth set up.
Xo!

Falling Water/ Ohiopyle

It's kind of disappointing that I only take a trip to Ohiopyle once a year.
 I feel like I should be going here all throughout summer.
It's easily one of my favorite places.
This time around we decided to hit up Falling Water before hand.
 I have never been there before and just wanted to see it with my own eyes for once.
They have tours there where you can go inside and see the design of the home but we opted to do just the ground tour.
 I do want to go back someday and checkout the inside just to see!
We hiked the ground tour and ended up on a trail called "Paradise Overlook"
 When the trail stops you come to the overlook of the mountains and down below and off yonder is the Youghiogheny River Gorge. That's basically Ohiopyle where we hang out and swim and hike but it was cool to see it all from above.
At Falling Water I wore my new kimono from Tamga Designs
 I've been wanted something purple and pretty for awhile now so when Yana reached out to me about a possible trade
I knew she would have exactly what I was looking for.
 I love the design of her kimonos, they are made so you can wear the sleeves two different ways which I think is pretty cool and I like to have the option of switching it up a bit.
I love it and just ordered another! {photos coming soon}
For those of you that don't know, Falling Water is a house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Write, built over a water fall in Bear Run Nature Reserve. He had originally built the home for the Kaufman family, owners of the Kaufman Department store..
 Today, it is a national Landmark in which you can go and tour the inside.
 If your in the western PA area, go and check it out!!
