Yesterday I got the privilege to experience the beautifulness of The Palace of Gold for the second time. My friends and I traveled back to The Palace of Gold in West Virginia for their annual Festival of Colors. I spent most of my time capturing all that this wonderful place had to offer. Although, I did not go inside the palace, I was still very much fascinated by its surroundings. Originally this palace was made for Srila Prabhuapada who was the founder of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Unfortunataley, by the time the palace was built, Srila Prabhuapada had passed. For more info on the history of Prahuapada and his gorgeous palace visit http://palaceofgold.com/history.html My favorite part by far is the rose garden. There are over 150 varieties of roses. I most certainly would love to have my own garden of roses one day. The beauty of this place is unreal and breathtaking. Color bomb off yonder.. This... ^^ Statues of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Nityananda Overlook of Appalachian hills
Looking forward to next year :) <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
